Winterization Tip: 

Last winter was unusually cold and this winter is forecast to be similar. Springtime revealed more broken/destroyed backflow preventers than we’ve ever seen in over 20 years. The best action is to REMOVE your device completely from exposure to freezing temperatures. Some backflow devices are difficult to purge, and just blowing your device out with air does NOT guarantee all the water is removed.

Protect your investment and take the time to properly ready your backflow preventer for winter. Contact us if you have any questions.
